Copyright license


Expedition White Shark Pty Ltd grants to you a worldwide non-exclusive royalty-free revocable license to:
  • view this application and the material on this application on a mobile device.
  • copy and store this application and the material on this application through your Itunes account or on an Iphone/Ipad

Expedition White Shark Pty Ltd does not grant you any other rights in relation to this application or the material on this application. In other words, all other rights are reserved. For the avoidance of doubt, you must not adapt, edit, change, transform, publish, republish, distribute, redistribute, broadcast, rebroadcast or show or play in public this application or the material on this application (in any form or media).

Data mining


The automated and/or systematic collection of data from this application is prohibited.

Subscription Term


  • Our Subscription Plan gives you access to Expedition white shark Navigational data for a one year Term only.
  • If the navigational data is still downloading after 12 months the user is eligible to keep receiving additional streaming data until expired.
  • The subscription lasts for 12 months. During this time you can:
    •     -  Access the software
        -  Access any subsequent updates that are released whilst your subscription is active
        -  Post in the News section.
After your subscription expires you can continue to use any software supplied by Expedition white shark , however Expedition white shark has no further commitment supplying navigational data that may have expired due to hardware failure or breakage.

Enforcement of copyright

Expedition White Shark Pty Ltd takes the protection of its copyright very seriously. Expedition White Shark Pty Ltd discovers that you have used its copyright materials in contravention of the license above, Expedition White Shark Pty Ltd. may bring legal proceedings against you seeking monetary damages and an injunction to stop you using those materials. Resulting in substantial legal costs awarded against the offending entity/entities.

About App

The app will allow you to receive live tracking data for the tagged Great White sharks, at the same time as the research scientists.

Positions for the tagged sharks can only be calculated when a shark is swimming at the surface with its dorsal fin out of the water for several minutes, furthermore, one of the ARGOS satellites must be overhead at the very same instant.
